E L I T E currently has openings at our Fremont branch location for a
new Assistant Teaching Director and classroom instructors and private
tutors for our SAT-level (10th-12th grades), PSAT, and middle school
classes. We are looking for motivated and skilled instructors who
will enjoy helping students achieve their educational goals. Training
will be provided.

***About the Assistant Teaching Director position: We are looking for
an outgoing individual who genuinely cares about students and who can
counsel and motivate students to achieve their academic goals. In
addition, s/he should be a detail-oriented, stable team-player who
works well with our staff and director. English fluency is definitely
required, but would be an added bonus to have someone who can speak conversational
Korean or Mandarin (bilingual is even better). Ideally, in addition to
administrative proficiency, the assistant director should also be able to teach
verbal subjects (ie writing and critical reading). We are looking to
hire full-time, and we are relatively flexible.

——– Requirements ———-

1) B.A./B.S. from an accredited U.S. university; no current college
students, please!
2) Background in humanities/liberal arts/social sciences or math/science.
3) Graduate degree and/or teaching credential is a plus, but not required.
4) 1+ years of teaching/tutoring experience at the middle or high
school level preferred.
5) Excellent communication and presentation skills in a classroom setting.
6) Genuine concern for the students’ education and well-being.
