Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Sundance Landscaping, serving the bay area since 1977, is seeking to fill the role of Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in our landscape maintenance division. ; This position has a strong emphasis on irrigation technical skills and managing landscaping crews. Excellent customer service skills are imperative. Reports to the General Manager (GM) and Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:
-Manage irrigation and landscape crews in the field on multiple job sites as well
as work with the Office and GM as required.
-Schedule crews as per maintenance budget.
-Complete daily timesheets for crews, and track all job costs including labor and
material. Manage inventory.
-Identify job site required repairs as reported by maintenance and irrigation
crews, and follow through on resolution.
-Manage job sites with a keen eye for improvements needed. Communicate with client, create proposals, and implement changes.
Interview and hire crew as needed. Conduct and document scheduled safety
meetings.

Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years supervisory position in landscape maintenance and irrigation.
-Certified Landscape or Irrigation Technician
Ability to estimate renovation and upgrades on existing and new accounts.
-Horticultural degree or certifications in the landscape industry
-Fluent in English and Spanish a plus
