Customer Service Professional Wanted for Security Position (san rafael)

  • We are seeking customer service orientated professionals to fill full-time and part-time/on-call security positions. This position is classified as a security officer; however it is similar to concierge with security functions.

    These positions are designed to provide optimum customer service and security for the client and their guests. The ideal candidate will have outstanding intercommunication and written skills, customer service skills, and a friendly and outgoing demeanor.

    Our team members are from diverse backgrounds; many have no security experience, but with our in-depth training program, staff are well versed in security matters, as well as top notch customer service staff.

    Our security team oversees security operations in San Francisco 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Control access to the client’s site and facility through admittance process; assist visitors with a legitimate need to gain entry to the facility; screen visitors and client employees in an
    efficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the site and facilities.

    • Provides an atmosphere in which all clients employees and visitors know that the client responds to and cares about their needs; provides a courteous, respectful and pleasant
    interaction with each client and visitor.

    • Monitors entrances and exits; acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry; controls entrances, the movement of people and vehicles, and parking; operates gate and examines vehicle
    contents; monitors remote entrances using close circuit television; operates remote access devices; in a calm manner directs persons who cause a disturbance to leave the property.

    • Patrols assigned areas on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors; security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, and
    unauthorized persons.

    Minimum Qualifications at the time of Employment

    • Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to handle high pressure situations and make sound decisions.
    • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
    • Friendly and professional demeanor
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Computer skills
    • Be able to left 40 pounds
    • Stand for two to four hours at one time
    • Ability to walk four to eight hours per day
    • Maintain professional uniform and personal grooming standards
    • Valid California Guard Card (BSIS) preferred
    • Valid California Driver’s License within 30-days of appointment.
    • Pass a criminal history and background Check — No criminal convictions
    • Pre-employment drug screening
    • Random background and drug screening
