We are looking for a few enthusiastic, efficient and knowledgeable customer reps (both inside and outside) to work with our buyers and sell our enormous catalog of wholesale products. We’re a fun, friendly, and ambitious team and you’ll get plenty of solid sales training and support, and this is a perfect position for recent college grads or someone with a few years of experience.

OUTSIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP
You’ll be responsible for driving to visit existing and new BBF buyers in Northern California to do product tastings with them and take orders for BBF products in person, as well as follow up by phone to take reordes.

-Outside Customer Service Rep Requirements: must be personable, be able to absorb lots of product information, have a passion for food and products, focused on taking orders and of course, a car, CA driver’s license and enjoy driving.

INSIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP
You’ll be responsible for following up with buyers by phone and email and helping them place their first orders online. You’ll also establish a relationship with qualified buyers, recommend additional products to them and follow up on them placing orders (usually additional orders get placed within 1 week of buyers initially registering for BBF). The goal is to help buyers use BBF for as much of their buying as possible.

-Inside Customer Service Rep Requirements: must be tech-savvy, great at conducting online searches, detail-oriented, meticulous about follow up, and enjoy customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Call from a list of thousands of leads to determine level of interest
- Quickly build phone and in-person rapport with buyers
- Set appointments with buyers
- Find out buyer needs, and search the BBF product catalog for appropriate items, and recommend them to buyers
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- This is a full time position

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years sales or customer service/phone experience
- Professional, executive tone – you’re working with company owners. College degree or equivalent required.
- Experience with phone calls and prospecting; must be able to make 70+ dials in a day
- Lightning fast — looking for people who line up their next call while on the previous call.
- Good with the paperwork– we’re maniacal about tracking everything in salesforce.com and optimizing the process.
- Creative and adaptable – we continuously refine the sales process and messaging, and expect you to keep up and contribute.
- Personable, fun and love food — the food business isn’t Wall Street and nobody gets into it for the money; for all your focus, successful reps will also deeply enjoy connecting with the products and the people who make them.
