Movea is a technology licensing company focusing on intellectual property in the field of tracking and/or classifying human body motion utilizing a combination of inertial and magnetic sensors. We focus on four markets; consumer electronics (computer peripherals, remote controls and game controllers), mobile devices (smart phones and tablets), sports and fitness devices (advanced pedometers, swim lap counters, virtual coaching) and physical activity monitoring (range of motion measurements, energy expenditure).

Customer Solutions Engineer (Field Applications Engineer)

As the technically savvy Customer Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for working with the customer in developing systems based on Movea IP. You will port Movea IP from released platforms to new platforms on a customer by customer basis. Additionally, you will work with development teams deployed around the globe working on a variety of platforms, as well as work with Movea’s Customer Solution Architects (CSA) to fully understand the customers’ requirements and then works with Movea’s Engineering teams to help resolve customer issues as they are found in the field.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years experience as a Customer Solutions Engineer / Field Applications Engineer
• Embedded Systems / Firmware experience
• Experience with programming for 8/16/32 bit microprocessors with no operating system
• Experience with Linux and Microsoft based development systems
• Ability to communicate directly with customers
• Fundamental understanding of basic physics (motion)
• C, C++ programming skills
