ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Design, code, test, debug and document programs in C/C++ for Linux embedded systems.
 
2. Experience with embedded processors
 
3. Support engineering efforts with programs and scripts
 
4. Participate in defining architecture of future hardware platforms.
 
5. Interact with Applications and Support engineers to support customers.
 

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
1. Eight (8) or more years C/C++ development experience.
 
2. Embedded Linux development experience.
 
3. Prior experience with embedded software for network device(s) will be a strong plus
 
4. Real-time OS experience
 
5. Experience with Linux C/C++ development systems.
 
6. Excellent communication skills.
 
7. Excellent technical troubleshooting, code debugging, and problem solving skills.
 

 
DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
 
1. RFID and network protocol experience.
 
2. Experience with and knowledge of OOA/D/P.
 
3. Other programming languages especially Ruby and Java.
 
4. Performance optimization
 
5. Ability to interpret standards (ISO, EPC)
