Job Description

SiXiTS is seeking Entry Level Software Engineers to help build our core Unity technology and the social and mobile games that are built on it. If you are a up and coming programmer in the Unity game engine, excited about building games for new technologies, and you’re looking to be a part of a fun team that shares like passions, we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities:

- Design and write the software for our reusable C# and/or Javascript frameworks.
- Design and write the software for individual social and mobile games using our framework.
- Design and develop software in all areas: graphics and animation, game world state management, UI, asset management, application infrastructure and network integration.
- Design and develop unit and integration test harnesses.
- Profile and optimize your code to weed out performance bottlenecks and memory leaks.
- Work with other engineers to establish REST/JSON API protocols.
- Work with designers and artists to smoothly integrate game UI and media assets.

Requirements:

- Must be absolutely passionate about software engineering, software design, algorithms and writing clean, comprehensible, elegant code.
- Must be able to operate both software engineering skills and management of your time and activities.
- Understanding of Javascript and C#.
- Experience developing or using Unity game engines.
- Experience developing applications for iOS / Android is a plus.
- Game development and design experience.
- Experience using the Facebook API is a huge plus.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, small startup environment where everyone contributes and is able to take ownership and responsibility for their respective areas.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required.
