Executive Grant Writer (oakland downtown)

  • Candidate must have at least 3-4 years of proven grant writing expertise. Experience must include major foundations and government funding sources. Insight of at-risk and high crisis family, youth and mental health services is a plus. Candidate must also have at least the equivalent of 4 years of experience working as an Executive Assistant (NOT just clerical), preferably in the non-profit field and confidential environment. Applicant must be proficient using Microsoft Office and Internet. Applicant must also be well organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities as assigned. Applicant will be responsible providing direct support to Executive staff, which means strong written and verbal communications is a must. Daily office tasks will include managing general office, creating and proofing documents, maintaining data base, greeting guests, running errands and other duties as assigned. Must have car, clean DMV record and proof of auto insurance for business/work use is required. Part-time 24-32 per week.
