<p>Description:<br />
ESP Safety is looking for a hands-on Optical Design Engineer well-versed in both analog and digital engineering disciplines with a background in optics, IR or UV light sources and sensor technologies to lead the design of the latest generation of gas and flame detectors.  This person will work on projects from the concept stage through delivery to manufacturing.  You will create and/or evaluate optical designs for new product development of gas and flame detectors.  You will define and execute lab experiments for concept development and feasibility testing to support optical system development, troubleshooting, and improvement.    You will provide tolerance analysis for optical designs.  You will assist Manufacturing during the manufacture of prototype assemblies, and develop manufacturing processes and work instructions.    You will support operations to resolve supplier and production problems.  You will create and evaluate design concepts in support of advanced R&amp;D investigations.</p>
<p>Requirements:<br />
•	Ph.D. or M.S. in Optical Engineering or related field <br />
•	Five (5)+ years industry or research experience<br />
•	Experience developing optical systems for laser-based systems, infrared systems or imaging systems<br />
•	Knowledge of geometrical and physical optics, optical measurements.  Hands on lab experience.<br />
•	Experience with imaging and illumination system design and analysis</p>

<p>Description:<br />
ESP Safety is looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer well-versed in both analog and digital disciplines with an interest in optics, IR and UV light sources and sensor technologies to support the latest generation of gas and flame detectors.  This person will be responsible for developing functional test and calibration procedures for US operations.  This will involve developing test procedures for our existing gas analysis instruments including tests for PCBs, sensors, calibration procedures, performance tuning, and final functional tests.  You will also perform prototype testing for our latest generation instruments.  <br />
Longer range plans for this position include certification for US markets, working with Firmware Engineers to update communication protocols such as HART, and the development of our next generation products.   The ideal candidate works well under pressure in a start-up-like environment and is looking to build expertise in this industry.  </p>
<p>Requirements:<br />
•	BS degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent<br />
•	Product design experience from specification to manufacturing release<br />
•	5+ years experience working in an electronics assembly environment<br />
•	Orcad schematic capture experience<br />
•	Mixed-signal/low-noise analog combined with digital design</p>

Job Captain, Designer, and AutoCAD Drafter with Corporate Interiors experience. The drafter will work within project teams, focused on the production of Construction Documents. The Job Captain will be responsible for managing multiple projects, and the Designer will be responsible for concept creation. Multiple openings are available and the need is immediate. Hires will be made on a temp basis initially but there is a potential for staff conversion if the work goes well. </p>
<p>
Candidates for this position should have 3 &#8211; 5 years of professional experience (Drafters) and the Job Captain and Designer should have 6-10 years of experience, including the production of construction documents and excellent skill in using AutoCAD. Experience with commecial interiors and tenant improvement projects is  required.  A Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design is required.</p>

<p>We are seeking a knowledgeable:    Test Engineer</p>
<p>Job Responsibilities:</p>
<p>Relocation not being offered for this position.</p>
<p>Under the direction of the test engineering manager, design, develop and create hardware/firmware for high performance analog and digital test fixtures. Create assembly drawings, PCB layouts, BOMs, and all other support documents required for the design and fabrication of PCB test fixtures. Complete designs rapidly to meet critical dates and then self manage follow up revisions. Respond to production test problems by working with production test staff, and design engineering. Troubleshoot complex analog and digital circuits to component level. Able to work independently and have good communication skills. Experience with Audio Precision System a plus. Also be willing to assist with general lab work, maintenance and oversight.</p>
<p>Job Requirements:</p>
<p>•	Must have a B.S. Degree and or 3-5 years relevant test fixture design experience in a manufacturing environment. </p>
<p>•	Experience with Protel PCB Layout &amp; Capture and MCU language codes is strongly desired.</p>
<p>•	Experience with Linux, C++ and Python.</p>
<p>•	Must possess excellent troubleshooting abilities from system to component level. </p>
<p>•	Be able to take the initiative to conceive and implement changes to the test procedures to ensure the systems are fully tested. </p>
<p>•	Must be able to evaluate new hardware and software designs for best method of testing that will minimize test times and maximize test coverage to ensure that the quality of the products are not compromised. </p>
<p>•	Familiarity with an ECO process a plus. </p>
<p>•	Preference given to local candidates.</p>
<p>•	Must pass a general and criminal background check.</p>

<p>Under direction of the Engineering Manager, plan, organize and supervise the operations of the Capital Projects Division of the Napa County Public Works Department. Provide direction and guidance to staff assigned to design, construction and project management functions for the County&#8217;s capital improvement program in the areas of roads, building facilities, airport and river restoration projects. Personally serve as project manager for more-complex capital improvement projects. Serve as the department&#8217;s representative in meetings and correspondence with project stakeholders, including federal, state and regional agencies, other County departments, and members of the public.</p>
<p><b>License or Certificate:</b><br />
Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.</p>

Three years of responsible professional civil engineering experience, at least one year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity over land development, flood plain and storm water engineering projects.</p>

The Industrial Engineering Hardware Technician will be responsible for: <br />
•	 Plan utilization of facilities including layout work areas to improve efficiency of operations<br />
•	Complete time studies<br />
•	Update process documentation<br />
•	Process mapping and creating documentation materials Assist with process and workflow analysis<br />
•	Analyze work activity to develop standards for improved labor utilization<br />
•	Supporting both mechanical and electrical teams with all internal / external prototyping needs <br />
•	Supporting the Hardware team for all R&amp;D testing and building of products and test fixtures <br />

<p>We are a full-service consulting firm providing geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing services.  We are seeking a Project Geologist with strong geotechnical and construction background.</p>
<p>Duties will include geotechnical, environmental and geologic hazards site investigations as well as construction observation and project management.  </p>
<p>In order to perform this job successfully, you must be able to meet these requirements:</p>
<p>&#61607;	Minimum of 4 years of geotechnical and construction experience.<br />
&#61607;	BA/BS in Geology or closely aligned field from an accredited university is required. <br />
&#61607;	Radiation Safety Officer Certification, Registered Environmental Assessor and Professional Geologist Registration are desirable.<br />
&#61607;	Strong project management skills are required.<br />
&#61607;	Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as ability to write geotechnical and environmental proposals.<br />
&#61607;	Excellent customer relation skills are required.<br />
&#61607;	Ability and willingness to travel locally.  </p>

Immediate need of a design assistant/ drafter with dynamic skills and passion for space. Must be assertive and multitask savvy to manage the diversity of this studios artistry. Assistant position for the principle artist/ designer to be his right hand in design development and project management at all levels of assistance in: drafting, purchasing agent, liaison between all contractors, fabrication management, presentations, furniture plans and communication with the fabrication studio.<br />
Understanding and developing detailed furniture drawings are imperative.</p>
<p>
REQUIRED SKILL SET:<br />
        Understanding and efficient at drawing complete plan sets<br />
	Degree in Architecture or Interior design<br />
        Google Sketchup <br />
	AUTOCAD<br />
	Microsoft Office Suite<br />

	Furniture / cabinet drafting </p>
<p>Understanding liaison responsibilities between contractors, fabrication shops, purchasing, installation management, furniture drawings, cabinetry layouts to communicate with the fabrication studio.<br />

<p>Our San Francisco office is currently in need of talented design staff with strong corporate interiors experience.  We have an opening for a <b>Job Captain</b> with 4+ years of commercial office interiors experience.  We also have two openings for <b>drafters</b> with 2+ years of commercial office interiors experience.  Prior experience with financial institution projects or technology companies is a plus.  This is an immediate contract need with the potential for long-term employment based on performance.</p>
<p><b>Required Experience and Skills (Job Captain position):</b><br />
- Bachelor&#8217;s degree from an accredited architecture or design school<br />
- 4 or more years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design firm, AND at least 2 years of experience working on commercial office interiors and tenant improvement projects.<br />
- Advanced Autocad and construction documentation skills<br />
- Extensive knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements.<br />
- Photoshop, Sketchup / 3d modeling and Indesign skills are a plus.<br />
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p>
<p><b>Required Experience and Skills (Drafter position):</b><br />
- Same as above, but <u>2 or more years</u> of professional experience in an architecture or interior design firm, with prior commercial office interiors and tenant improvement projects.</p>
