Financial Analyst (5 month contract) (oakland lake merritt / grand)

Currently representing an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in downtown Oakland!
This is a 5-month contract assignment with an hourly salary of $30-35/hour, DOE.Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and analyzing budgets
- Tracking adherance to budget and reporting to management
- Analyzing contract provisions and change orders
- Variance analysis
- Cash flow projections
- Reviewing invoices and identifying discrepancies/billing adjustments
Requirements include:
- 5-8 years of experience in financial analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills (to include v-lookups, macros, pivot tables, formulas)
- Heavy budgeting/variance analysis experience
- Proficiency in various databases is useful, as is experience using Oracle/PeopleSoft
- 4-yr. degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
