Graphic Designer/Writer
 

 
Progressive, well-established East Bay consumer finance organization is seeking candidates for a Graphic Designer/Writer to assist the Branding/Marketing Department. This position supports marketing and communications projects while designing a wide variety of online and offline materials.
 

 
This person will take ownership web content projects to drive improvements change in the areas of content, functionality, interactivity.
 

 
Primary Responsibilities
 
Develops content for public site and intranet
 
Coordinate web-based promotions and campaigns in concert with the Branding team
 
Serve as a member of the creative team in developing promotional offers, formulating tactics and volunteering ideas
 
Interact with IT personnel to enhance web applications and drive improvements to the overall user experience
 
Develop online newsletters and emails
 
Coordinate content for in-branch video system.
 
Special projects and other duties as assigned
 

 
Required Qualifications
 
Strong knowledge of Adobe CS2 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, Dreamweaver)
 
Working knowledge of HTML (including knowledge of Web Standards), CSS, and online design experience (email, web content & interactivity)
 
Internet tools (Web browsers, email, CGI, secured environments)
 
Print design experience desirable
 
Copywriting experience desirable
 
Strong organizational skills
 
Marketing Department (in-house agency) or design firm background preferred
 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 
High ethical and professional standards and values. Demonstrated high standards for customer service
 
A proactive approach to anticipating and solving problems. Flexible and adaptable. A quick learner with a self-teaching approach to investigating new technologies and solving unfamiliar problems
 
AA or Bachelors degree with applicable experience
