Intranet Web Application Developer Intern

Ellie Mae is seeking an Intranet Developer Intern to work on a very exciting project to create and kick off an internal intranet. Developer will be responsible for development, maintenance and support of the Intranet and Internet web sites using SharePoint, .NET and any other web technologies. This position will work closely with end-users to define business requirements and produce effective interface/interaction and site usability. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the deployment of web technologies to end users and for sharing information and data between applications.

Job Responsibilities:

•Create and edit custom SharePoint Web Parts, Workflow and Master Pages
•Develop custom applications using ASP.NET/C#, AJAX, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Designer, etc
•Partner with end-users at all levels to define business requirements and develop solutions that optimize the trade-offs between system costs and business benefits
•Evaluate new technologies and develop recommendations in support of a forward looking IT strategy
•Develop and publish reports and metrics in dashboard format from enterprise applications.
•Support end-users with the maintenance of web-site content utilizing standardized content management tools
•Document system requirements, detail design, test cases/results and production changes; develop end-user training and reference materials

•.NET Framework
•C#, ASP, ASP.NET, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Java
•Visual Studio 2008/2010
•SharePoint Server 2007, 2010 development, workflows and administration
•SQL, Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, MySQL, SSIS
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills – a skilled business professional who communicates effectively with all levels of end-users and management
•Ability to synthesize business requirements and transform them into solutions leveraging web based technologies
•Ability to quickly learn new technologies and applications
•Ability to work major projects and manage multiple priorities with minimum supervision is a must
Current or Recent MIS/IT College Graduate
