Smart Meetings, a locally owned, travel trade magazine based in Sausalito, has an urgent need for editorial interns. This is a part-time position with flexible days/hours in a fun and fast-paced environment. You will receive college credit and masthead credit for your work; the position is unpaid.
 

 
Job Duties: researching, fact-checking, proofreading, compiling industry news, monitor developments in our area of coverage, possibility of some writing (depending on experience).
 

 
Job Requirements: ability to manage concurrent tasks, attention to detail, organizational skills, some knowledge of copyediting, dedication to journalism and enthusiasm for travel. InCopy knowledge is a plus. Prior internship not required; should be a senior or entering into senior year in a journalism program. Must be a currently enrolled college student.
 

 
Time Commitment: Two days per week, five hours per day.
 

 
Deadline: August 15.
