Inside Tennis magazine, which is now in its 31st year, is one of America’s leading tennis magazines and one of the most thoughtful and provocative sports publications in America.

We are seeking a Managing Editor to oversee our monthly regional editions in Northern California, Southern California, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Texas.
Qualified candidates must have extensive experience, as well as a natural flair for story development, copy editing and story packaging; a working knowledge of and a passion for both print and digital media; a track record of meeting deadlines under pressure and an ability collaborate successfully with others.

Duties include:

•Writing, reporting.
•Planning editorial assignments and ensuring deadlines are met.
•Overseeing editorial contributions of from regional editors.
•Acting as a liaison for five United States Tennis Association sections.
•Editorial research.
•Copy editing, proofreading.
•Daily website maintenance.
•Compiling editorial database.
•Knowledge of PhotoShop and Quark a plus.
•Helping on occasion with administrative duties.
