Immix Management Services is seeking a Network Support Technician to provide desktop support and radiology customer service activities. Immix is a medical management company that specializes in the field of radiology. We also offer an alternative full-time work schedule allowing you to choose either 5 8-hour days weekly or an alternate 9/80 schedule (8 9-hour days, 1 8-hour day with every other Friday off). Due to the nature of this job, this position requires you to be available to resolve problems on assigned weekends and evenings. The administration office is located in Novato, CA (San Francisco Bay Area), with easy freeway access from Highways 101 and 37. However, this position requires some travel within the Bay Area so you must have your own transportation to drive to various sites.
Job duties include:
• Monitor IT help desk and assist with radiology customer service activities
• Diagnose hardware issues and replace internal components and peripherals
• Install , configure, and upgrade workstations and applications
• Resolve basic network connectivity issues
• Set-up new accounts, change passwords, and other account maintenance activities
• Assist the senior staff with system maintenance, project implementation and testingRequirements include:
• 2+ years of IT experience, AA degree or specialized technical training and certifications, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Microsoft Certified Professional, Comp TIA A+ or N+, and/or Cisco CCNA certification or equivalents desirable
• Service Technician level education/experience with installation, troubleshooting and repair of Windows operating systems, common business applications, and PC hardware and peripherals
• Understanding of network protocols, Ethernet LANs, TCP/IP, and network routing principals.
• Technical help desk/customer service experience preferred
