P/T A/V Technician (SOMA / south beach)

Audio Visual Equipment Rental Company in San Francisco seeking a P/T (somewhere between 20-30 hours per week), customer service oriented A/V Technician.
Main Job Description
• Checking AV gear in and out for customer orders
• Demonstrating to clients how to use equipment
• Set up and operate basic projectors, screens, displays, and sound systems
• Organizing equipment inventory transfers between various locations
• Deliver and setup AV equipment at client locations throughout greater San Francisco Area (Mostly in the San Francisco vicinity)
• Troubleshoot technical issues that come up on job site
• Interface with client at location to handle all details of job to their requirements
• Helping to maintain an organized and professional office environmentJob Requirements:
• Be over 21 years old.
• A clean driving record
• Self-motivated individual
• Customer service oriented.
• Positive attitude
• Must be able to work in fast paced work environment
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with other employees and clients
• A developed eye for detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently
• Live in close proximity to our San Francisco Office (Please do not apply if you live more than 15-20 minute drive from San Francisco)
• Comfortable on the phone answering questions and quoting prices once fully trained
• Have strong computer skills. (Windows, MacOSX, Microsoft Office)
• Clean, professional appearance and demeanor
• Hospitality, Special Events or production experience (a plus)
• Some experience with microphones, PA systems, projectors, displays, and video gear. We will train the right person, but some background is helpful
• Own reliable transportationSCHEDULE & SALARY:
• $12-15/hr DOE
• Schedule varies per week however you must be able to work Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm. There will also be required weekend work.
