Job Description:
The Counselor provides advice and counsel on lawn and garden care and educates our consumers and retail customers on the selection and use of Scotts products.

- Counsel consumers and answers questions about lawn and garden care.

- Demonstrate how all Scotts products will meet the consumer’s needs

- Provide recommendations and product knowledge to both consumers and retail customer associates

- Install point of purchase (POP) signage

- Down-stocking products when needed

- Provide consumer counseling sessions including lawn and garden educational clinics, promotional events and in-aisle consumer education as needed

- Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner. (i.e. time sheets, surveys etc.)

- Previous retail experience preferred
