Shrockie LLC is a housewares company located in West Oakland. We make fun housewares products that are sold in kitchen stores and we need to get the word out about how cool and effective our products are. Check us out at www.shrockie.com

After seeing the site, you may not be surprised to find out that I was a toy designer for 15 years before making the jump to housewares. I just needed something new to work on..

So, we’ve created these fun FishClips, and we need to get the word out.. This is where you’d come in. We need to get people excited about FishClips.. Everyone has bags, right? So, they might as well have some fun closing those things up.

Here’s the plan..
•We’re not quite ready for Real Simple, Good Housekeeping or Rachael Ray magazines yet, we have to get people talking about us first..
•So we need to reach out to Mommy bloggers and other people to get a little buzz going.. We need to get in touch with the bloggers out there and send them samples.. Then check in and make sure they got them, and see if we can get them to post about us.. The people in the magazines look to the mommy bloggers to find up and coming new products..
• Have some other ideas about how we can promote these little guys? Awesome! That’s just what we’re looking for.

• Are you a good independent worker? That’s great! once we get things set up, if it looks like you’re taking charge and getting things done, you can work from home if it looks like we’ll still accomplish our goals that way.
• You’ll get loads of FishClips! They’re great around the house, and make great gifts too..
• You’ll get to promote a product that people love!

I think we should shoot for a 2 month duration, and see how things go. So it’s not a giant time commitment on your part. The hope is, it’s a quick turn with lots of results to show at the end. Your efforts will make a big impact for out budding company.

The hope is that you’ll enjoy what you do, enjoy who you work with, and have fun promoting a product that’s unique and gets people excited. We hope to position you for success, so you’ll be able to walk away with tangible results that show how you got us from a relatively unknown product company, to a company that was featured in lots of magazines, TV shows, etc..
