In your role as a Senior MySQL Database Engineer you will be responsible to design, implement and maintain one of the most critical parts of our infrastructure: our database servers.

Responsibilities
• Design, implement and maintain our database architecture for production environment used by millions of gamers
• Own the DB scalability, backup, replication, failover and monitoring strategies
• Fine tune settings for maximum performance
• Provide assistance to development team to optimize slow queries
• Perform periodic capacity planning for our DB infrastructure
• Provide on-call expert support for critical issues in our MySQL servers
• Write tools to automate DB maintenance
• Evaluate and recommend DB technologies

Key Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with MySQL administration in a large scale production environment
• Expertise with MySQL configuration, replication, performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell, PERL or other script programming
• BS degree in CS or CE
