Summary of Position:
Zero Motorcycles is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Logistics Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating multiple functions within the shipping and receiving department. Responsibilities may include the transportation of materials and/or finished goods, freight vendor selection and negotiation, distribution of supplies as needed, and inventory control. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Familiar with standard warehousing and shipping/receiving concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Certification in Dangerous Goods as related to Lithium Ion Battery regulations, preferred but not required.
• Responsible for providing administrative support for shipping and receiving both domestically and internationally.
• Responsible for all aspects of dispatching product to distribution centers and directly to customers worldwide, including finished products and raw materials to and from supply base.
• Informs transporters of freight requirements and ensures that cargo is packaged, documented and routed appropriately.
• Prepares and verifies bills of lading, commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks to ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are scheduled, tracked and confirmed.

Required Education/Experience:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Skills and Attributes
• Works under general supervision.
• Ideally worked for automotive manufacturers, managing warehouse operations.
• Knowledge in ERP systems.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds .
