EVB is looking for a Senior Technical Director. This person is responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating activities throughout the project, including key design decisions for the technology, structure and configuration of the systems. They are the team advocate and the team cheerleader, the teacher, the enabler and the tone setter. It is their responsibility to ensure the stability and timeliness of the deliveries.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Driving the technical cohesion and innovation for the client
• Rally and collect the development team to work towards common goals and stable deploys.
• Contribute to documentation that outlines the technical feasibility and details around technical creative concepts.
• Instill confidence and comfort with the clients in the technical capabilities of the agency to accomplish the seemingly impossible.
• Mentoring through mistakes and pushing the developers to be the best they can be and ensuring their growth
• Executing code reviews to ensure that specified frameworks and patters are being implemented correctly
• Consider all points of failure and use cases to create frameworks that accommodate for those scenarios

Job Requirements:
•8+ years of high level development experience with at least one language and experience with others
• 1+ years leading technology driven projects and teams
• Wide range of understanding of technology capabilities and their limitations
• Experience with sourcing server providers, as well as their configurations (Clusters, Cloud, etc.)
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
• Understanding of common technical documentation methodologies (Use cases, UML, Wiki, etc.)
• Experience creating development patterns or standards
• Experience with testing suites and integrating those suites into a framework
• Experience in sourcing and managing vendors across a wide range of disciplines.
• Design skills a plus.
