We are an established marketer and distributor of consumer products serving various retailers in the United States, located in Hayward, California. We have an opening for Web Master.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a fast pace environment and successfully contribute to the team.
We are seeking a skilled web master that has full knowledge on web based design skills as well as development skills, a person with graphic skills who can maintain & improve our current websites, and also a person that implements web pages, maintains content and oversees day-to-day management of our websites with commercialized products including memory foam pillows, toppers and mattresses and other promotional website properties. Superb communication, time management and computer/excel skills are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining company web pages on sites, including graphics, animation and functionality.
- Understand web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
- Understand search engine optimization strategies.
- Revitalize websites online with commercial products to increase sales.
- Work closely with mass retail customers to ensure that web product images with proper verbiages are put on site.
- Circulate efficient and accurate reporting, detailing results of each month’s performance and suggest areas possible improvement
- Advise Managing Director on the improvement, results, competition and new direction in technology to assist with marketing of the brand and innovative products.
Skills / Attributes Required:
- Proven Website Management experience.
- Strong web design skills which will include the ability to edit HTML, XML and JavaScript with very strong CSS knowledge.
- Working knowledge of PhP with MySQL required.
- Working knowledge of Wordpress and other Content Management Systems (CMS) required.
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver required.
- A thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques.
- Experience with Javascript framework, JSON, Flash and Ajax
- A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a corporate environment with local team as well as a nationwide network of administrators, sales staff and web professionals.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- This is an on-site, in-office position and not a posting for remote services.
