Junior Network Administrator
 

 
Webpass, Inc, is hiring a Jr. Network Admin! You will work closely with the Senior Network Administrator to develop, maintain, and help grow our metropolitan network.
 

 
Responsibilities will include:
 
* Configuring Equipment
 
* Handling Support Calls and Emails
 
* Managing Network Resources
 
* On-Call Emergency Troubleshooting
 
* Network Maintenance
 
* Network Inventory
 
* Hardware Management
 

 
Qualified applicants must be proficient with:
 
* Ethernet and TCP/IP
 
* Home Networking Equipment (For Customer Support)
 
* Working with command line interfaces
 
* Mac, Windows, Linux and/or FreeBSD
 

 
Bonus points if you have experience with any of the following:
 
* Cat5 and Fiber cabling and terminations
 
* BGP/OSPF Routing
 
* Junos
 
* Juniper, Brocade/Foundry, Netgear, D-Link Equipment
 
* Zenoss NMS
 
* Scripting – PHP, Ruby, Python, Perl
 
* Salesforce
 

 
You must be able to work Saturdays, as well as be on-call for network emergencies, have excellent problem solving skills, be flexible, be willing and physically able to do labor (pull cables, rack equipment, etc), have a positive attitude, and be self-motivated.
